So today I am bringing you the end of my Florida blog posts and as the title says its my American Beauty Buys!
So let’s get started:
As you can see I didn’t actually buy that much! (I think anyways!)
Firstly I’ll talk about the foundations I bought:
As you can see I bought a range of what I call high end and drugstore!
The MAC foundation does look really dark in this photo (bad lighting) but it is in the shade NC13 and I think it has to be my favourite. The Sephora foundation I would say has to be my least favourite due to it being oil free and that doesn’t go very well with my skin. The Maybelline Matte + Poreless I am yet to try but will let you know how it goes.
Next is the MAC Studio Careblend Pressed. Now I don’t know if this is a powder that they just do in America as my sister has said she has never seen this. I got this in the shade light and I find it sets my under eye concealer very well! Cannot wait to try other MAC powders if they are just as good!
Next is an item that has to be in every beauty bloggers makeup bag/ dresser/ storage
There isn’t much I can say about this as you have all heard it 100 times over apart from that I could not get it anywhere in Cardiff before I went on holiday! So as soon as I saw it I had to get it! I bought this in the shade light.
Next I bought what I think is my new favourite blush!
This is Sephora’s own Colourful blush. I got this in So Shy and it truly is long lasting! As you can see it is such a light colour and would work well for someone with pale skin such as myself.
Next is a lipstick from a brand I have heard of but never tried before.
This is fruit punch by Milani. The gold packaging is so beautiful and I just love the colour on this lipstick. Apart from a swatch I haven’t really tried it out but I will definitely let you know what it is like!
Next are two mascaras that I picked up in Walmart!
These are the NYC Sky Rise lengthening mascara & Maybelline Great Lash mascara.
These are my new everyday mascaras. Both of these make my eyelashes look so long and natural. Will for sure be buying these again!
So I got the Benefit Porefessional & Urban Decay’s eyeshadow primer. Both in sample size as due to having combination skin, some things just don’t work for me. But like everyone else I have fallen in love the Professional it makes me skin just look so flawless. I am yet to try the eyeshadow primer but am excited to try it!
Lastly is the Sephora blending sponge.
The whole beauty world has gone made for beauty sponges and for a good reason! To be honest I didn’t really want to fork out loads of money for an official beauty blender if I wasn’t going to like. But as you can see from the photo (sorry!) it has been put to good use! I don’t think I could go a day without using my blender for my makeup.
Well thats it guys, thats all the non-disney makeup I bought!
let me know if you have tried any of the products!
