Happy Monday everyone!
So today I’m bringing you a review of the Revlon 24hr Colorstay foundation.
If you follow me on Instagram you would of seen that this was in my beauty bargains a few weeks ago. I actually purchased this from B&M Bargains and you’re probably just as sceptical as I was buying it! But for £3.50 I wouldn’t have broken the bank if it was a terrible product.
I know you can still get different versions of the colorstay foundation in Boots and Superdrug but they normally cost around £12.99 so if you really wanted this foundation but didn’t want to fork out for it I would definitely think of looking in B&M bargains for your shade!
So I picked up the shade 110 Ivory and this particular foundation is for normal to dry skin. I know you can get one for oily skin but I didn’t notice if they had that version I’m afraid!
So even though I picked up ivory, this sort of colour can normally be to orange for me so I normally got for porcelain. I gave it a go any how!
The one down side about this foundation is that it doesn’t come with a pump! You could always get one from MAC I guess they would work just as well but I tend just to pour this on to the back of my hand and use a foundation brush to apply! WARNING: be careful when pouring it is very running and will come out very very quickly! But I know from looking at Boots and Superdrug the newer version of this foundation does come with a pump.
I was very surprised when applying this foundation that it is very light weight, so it feels like I’m wearing no foundation at all. It is very easily to blend, but does dry quick so make sure your beauty blender is damp before applying! And it is high coverage! for someone with a lot of marks and scars on her face, with the foundation that is not a problem to cover!
As you can see from the picture above it looks like I have nothing on my hand at all! but I do promise its the foundation blended in! I didn’t take pictures of it on my face (I hate having photos) but the foundation does last all day in work with no problems!
All in all I would give this product a 10/10 as well as calling it a dupe for the Nars sheer glow foundation. They are so alike its unreal!
Have you tried this foundation before? What are your thoughts on it?
