Loreal Pure Clay Detox Mask

Hello everybody!

I hope you are all ready for christmas?! I really cannot wait, I love christmas!

So as we come to the end of the year, I thought I would share my favourite winter face mask with you. As you can see from the title of this post its the boreal pure clay detox mask. I remember when these went on sale that everyone and their mum went nuts for them and I couldn’t get one for ages! I eventually managed to get it in Tesco for ยฃ5! Bargain!

This is one of three that you can get. This is the detox mask, the green on is a purity mask and the orange on is a glow mask.

Unless you’ve lived under a rock its a clay mask so you can’t peel it off, you do have to wash it off! duuuhh!

Now I have combination skin (it is more oily than dry though) so I went for the detox mask. When I first bought this a lot of people said like not to use it before a big night out etc because it did bring out all the crap from your face. Luckily enough I didn’t have this problem and haven’t has this problem since.

It does go very dry and tight on your face so if you don’t like masks like this I would not recommend it to you! It comes in a glass jar and says it will last 10 uses. I really only put it on my cheeks, nose and chin and I think it will last a little longer than 10 uses.

I apply this with a brush. I got this one in a set from wilko. It comes with a little bowl you can put your masks in an apply from there but because this loreal one comes in a jar so I just use the brush. Any foundation brush will do though! you don’t have to buy a special set I promise!

I normally leave it on for around 15 mins, this is when the mask has gone a light grey and my skin is feeling as tight as ever. I then rinse it off with a flannel and warm water, pat my face dry and apply some moisturiser.

So all in all this has to be my favourite face mask at the mo!

Have you tried any of these? What were your thoughts?
