Now I know this post is a little late but better late than never right?
As you can see this post is going to be all about my 2016 beauty favourites. So let’s jump straight in!
So my first favourite and something I didn’t actually try until mid 2016 is the Nars Sheer Glow foundation in Gobi.
I’m not going to go into full details about it as I did a full review which you can read here. But this is a brilliant match for my skin. I don’t find that it oxidises at all. Its easily blendable and so lightweight. If you want a highend foundation and not pay a huge amount I would recommend this foundation completely.
Next is the first of 2 Too Faced products in this favourites post. So the first is the Better Than Sex mascara.
I got a sample of this last christmas and immediately fell in love with it. I find it so easily to use. I don’t find my lashes clump together and it gives my lashes enough thickness and length but I do find you can add more if you want a thicker, darker look.
So now we jump to the next Too Faced product. Which is the Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer.
Now maybe only in the past 2/3 years have I actually started using bronzers. I always find because I am so pale a lot of bronzers did make me look orange! (plus I wasn’t applying them properly!) But one, I love how these do actually smell like chocolate! Like what girl doesn’t want her makeup smelling like chocolate right? second, the milk soleil is perfect for pale skin. It gives you enough bronze without looking too muddy! Again this is high end but for a bronzer is it one of my faves! Hence why its in my favourites!
Next is the Tanya Burr Eyeshadow palettes in Hollywood & Birthday Suit.
I absolutely love these 2 palettes in particular because when it comes it eyeshadow I don’t like anything too bold I am a nude colour lover and these 2 palettes are perfect! They have normally 1 matte and 3 shimmer shades and they are all so so bendable! So if your trying to grow your collection these are the perfect drugstore palettes to have!
So my last beauty favourite is the Mac Powder Blush in Mocha
This is one of my more recent purchases from 2016 but I quickly fell in love with it. It was only that my sister actually has this blush and I tried some that I fell in love. It is a pinky/purple blush and I think is a perfect colour for winter. I do find a little goes a long way with this one (which I learnt the hard way! haha)
Well that was my 2016 favourites. What were yours?
