My 3 Favourite Essie Nail Polishes

I’ve known about Essie polish for a while but I have only recently tried them thanks to a christmas present off my mum! Since then I have fallen in love!

They have such a wide range of colours, they do dry quite quickly and have such a great pigment to them so you don’t have to paint about 50 coats before getting the perfect colour.

So this is the first colour Spin The Bottle

As you can see this is a nude pink colour which when painted on I think has a slight peach colouring too it as well.

This is just with 2 coats only but as mentioned above Essie polishes are so pigmented that you wouldn’t need anymore than 2 coats I feel. I bought this for my belated christmas do on Saturday as I’m going with a navy & nude outfit! (possible outfit post to follow)

Next polish is 1 of 2 that I got in the set for christmas which is Chinchilly

Now I feel greys are a colour that can be worn thought the year and I am currently loving the grey nail look. Perfect colour for winter but still not to dark for summer.

This is with only 2 coats again so I think it’s a gorgeous colour with that amount of coats. Obviously you could put one more on to make the colour a little darker.

Last one is Bahama Mama which is the 2nd colour that came in the Christmas set.

I feel in the bottle this looks like a pinky/purple/red colour.

This was only with one coat which looks like a red/pinky colour with more coats it does go darker so it looks more like a red/purple.

So these were my favourite 3 Essie nail polishes.

Have you tried Essie before? What are you favourite colours?

  1. Ooh I had Bahama Mama in a Christmas set last year – it’s such a lovely winter shade. My favourite Essie shades are Fiji (It’s a thick white/pink colour and I wore it all summer), and Touch of Grenadine, which I’m wearing now 🙂
