So as you can see from the title of this post I’m doing to be doing my January favourites.
Now where the flip did January go? I feel like the month just went so fast it’ll be christmas before we know it!
So throughout January I did manage to try some new products and re-discover some old ones so lets go!
So my newest favourite that I have been loving this month is the Nars Luminous Weightless foundation.
Since running out of my sheer glow and them not having it in stock lately I went for the next best thing. The foundation is so full coverage, the only 1 bad thing about this foundation is that it is very watery. Personally I do prefer sheer glow but would happily purchase this again.
Next one is an oldie but a goodie. The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter.
I think every girl and her dog has this highlighter but it is so so good! If you don’t have this highlighter then you seriously need to jump on the bandwagon! Personally I think it is the most golden/glowly highlighter that I own, why I ever gave it up I will never know!
Next is the NYX Pro Foundation Mixer
Now this is something I purchased at the NYX blogger event a little while ago but never actually used! (I’m sure all beauty bloggers have products like this!) So I have the pearlescent version. Basically you mix this with any foundation and it is suppose to make the colour of the foundation lighter than if it was by itself. The pearlescent one also adds a slight glow to the foundation for people who love the glowly look like me!
When I use this I hardly use any foundation itself if anything I use maybe 1 and a half pumps and a squirt of this and it gives me the perfect amount of product to cover my face. I will definitely be going to buy more as they do do a white one as well.
My next favourite was included in my 2016 favourites and is the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara.
I won’t give a full review of the product here you can read it in my 2016 favourites I use this mascara every day whether I’m going out or just going to work, I think it gives me just the right look no matter what.
Lastly is my favourite nail combination at the moment Maybelline Dr. Rescue and Essie hubby for dessert.
The Dr. Rescue is a brilliant base coat and top coat. If you want your nails to grow then you need to get the product. My nails grow so much quicker when I apply this every couple of days! and my nails do feel so much stronger. If you were an acrylic nail gal like me then you know just how weak your nails can be but this is a lifesaver!
Essie hubby for dessert was a polish I got from fragrance direct. They actually do Essie polish for £2.99 for a full size bottle. They have so many colours as well. I am not to sure if they are discontinued colours but this grey/purply colour is amazing for spring/summer.
Well there you have it my January favourites. What products were you loving in January? Let me know in comments!
